Salon Policies

  • A valid credit card is required to be held on file for every guest (Visa debits are not sufficient). Credit card numbers are held in our Point of Sale software and are encrypted. You can request it be deleted if you no longer wish to have services at the salon.
  • All new guests booking a color service at the salon will be subject to a 50% appointment deposit at the time of booking.
  • If you do not have a credit card you must pre-pay a deposit in the form of an e-transfer for every appointment booked. No exceptions can be made on this policy.
  • By giving your credit card you accept any charges to the card on file for no-showed and cancelled appointments as per our policy.
  • TEXTING REMINDERS ARE SENT OUT 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE - please keep note of your appointment somewhere else. Failure to receive/see a reminder or get the date wrong will still result in cancellation fees. Not confirming your appointment does not qualify as cancelling.
  • Changes to your appointment can only be made on our app, or through the salon over phone or email. If you are cancelling a beginning of the week appointment over a weekend when the salon is closed - we do require you email us.
  • All service tickets are subject to the salon’s $4 Operations Fee which helps to supply complimentary items to guests like flavoured sodas, syrups and pop, lattes, chips and snacks and feminine care products in the bathroom
  • A courtesy of 48 hours notice must be given to move, switch, or cancel an appointment
  • As we are closed on Sundays and Mondays, notice of cancellation for Tuesday appointments must be given before time of close on Saturday through our phone, or through email over the weekend.
  • For appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, we will try our best to fill the appointment with another guest. If we are able to, you will not be charged.

CANCELLATION FEES

50% of the appointment cost will be charged to the card on file for appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice

100% of the appointment will be charged to the card on file for all appointments that are no-showed

If we are unable to charge the card on file, the client will no longer be able to book an appointment with any stylist until the fee is paid

Fees will be assessed on a case by case basis at the discretion of the salon

THESE POLICIES ARE FIRM AND HIGHLY ENFORCED

ADJUSTMENTS/REFUNDS

  • We want all of our guests to be happy with their hair. If you are not satisfied with your hair after your visit, you have 10 days from the date of service to reach out to us to have it adjusted by your stylist or another stylist. The salon reserves the right to determine the eligibility of an adjustment/fix on a case by case basis. We will only provide one complimentary fix.
  • The salon does not provide refunds on services, hair extensions, gift cards or products.
  • Due to the hygienic nature of hair/hot tools, brushes, clips, combs and hair accessories, these are a final sale
  • We will offer a store credit or exchange for products within 30 days of purchase (with minimal amount used) unless we need to refund you due to backorders. If you purchased products online, additional shipping costs for returns are paid for by the customer.

DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICES

  • Capelli Salon Studio reserves the right to refuse services to any guest. We reserve the right to terminate any client relationship we deem necessary. Excessive rudeness, verbal abuse, use of profanity or pushback on salon policies will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate termination of services.
  • Any client who requires a color correction or has box/permanent color on their hair (not done by the salon) will be required to sign a release form prior to the service

CHILDREN IN THE SALON

  • Our studio values guest experience above all & we want to create a luxury environment where our guests can invest in themselves and be pampered. As our salon serves alcohol, has sharp/hot tools around and has expensive items on display, please be advised that: Our salon space is reserved for ages 12 and above. Thus, we are unable to provide services for children below 12 years old or have them in the salon.

If you have an appointment booked with us it's necessary to find alternative child care outside of the salon so you and other guests are able to fully relax and enjoy the service *(exception for mother's who are nursing infants 3 months and under)*

If you bring children to your appointment, the service will not be started. Unfortunately we are unable to have children wait at the front if someone is coming to pick them up.

If this results in not enough time remaining for the appointment, there will still be a charge.

Shipping & Returns

We offer $9 shipping within Canada on mostly all items in our store. When ordering heavy items like hot tools and litre/litre refill pouches, there is an increased shipping cost to $19. No matter how much you order however, it won't go past that! With both of these options, partial shipping costs are covered by Capelli Salon Studio.

For all hair products ordered, we offer a 30-day exchange or store credit return policy. Any extra shipping costs will be covered by the customer. We do not offer refunds on any items. Due to the hygienic nature of hot tools, hair brushes, hair clips and scrunchies, these will all be a final sale once purchased, both in salon and online.
